HELLO SUMUP

Setting up SumUp at Mani Mogo was a bit of a rollercoaster. We were faced with many problems and many products which did not get delivered. I turned to Claude Code to solve these, and then I applied for a position at SumUp, a creative B2B middleman. Of course, such an exact job that I was aiming for was not available because it's too random, but hey, try new things. My application is here.


These were just three of the many broken things I saw. And despite requests going unanswered, I worked around some fixes.

Kitchen order slip: vibe-coded a workaround. The kitchen is very happy. Me too. Pickup display: built a solution, ready for deployment. And the rest of the fix log keeps growing.
